Dechen Pemba is editor of High Peaks Pure Earth, an online platform that offers translations, news, and commentary from the Tibetan internet and social media. Born in the United Kingdom to Tibetan parents, she graduated from University College London and SOAS, University of London, with an MA in Chinese Studies. She has worked as a researcher and campaigner on Tibetan issues. She also co-curates the annual Tibet Film Festival in London.
