Elena Monaldo is a PhD student at Roma Tre University, Italy. Her
research focuses on modern and contemporary Chinese literature, with a
particular emphasis on poetry and women’s writing. She explores their
development and engagement with China’s social transformations,
highlighting their role in shaping cultural perspectives. She is also active in literary translation.
