Joshua Neves is Associate Professor of Cinema, Canada Research Chair, and Director of the Global Emergent Media (GEM) Lab at Concordia University (Montréal, Canada). His research centres on global and digital media, with a particular focus on video, television, and digital culture; China, Asia, and the Global South; cultural theory and political theory; and media urbanism.
