Joyce Cheng is a journalist and education-focused academic in the School of Culture and Communication at the University of Melbourne. She teaches undergraduate and master’s-level courses in journalism and media in the Media and Communication Program. Her reporting can be found on TV, radio, websites, and digital platforms of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and SBS Australia. She has also worked as a print writer and translator with publishers based in Beijing and Taipei.
