Ida Huang is a PhD researcher in Politics at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. Her research focuses on LGBTQ+ and feminist activism, youth social movements, and educational inequality. In addition to her academic work, she is an independent writer covering social issues related to China. Her writing has been featured in several Sinophone media outlets, including Initium and Diyin.
