Ng Sum Leung is a DPhil candidate at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Oxford, UK. Leung’s research analyses contemporary Hong Kong literature, examining shifting urban imaginaries, locality, and dialogues with other Sinophone and diasporic Anglophone regions, with particular attention to posthumanism, gender, the affective turn, and illness. Leung is also an emerging poetry translator of Sinophone literature.
